BIOGRAPHY

I am Clavia/Xinyang He. From a young age, I have found solace and joy in capturing fragments of the world through the lens of a camera, and I have a burning desire to pursue a future in film and production. Art has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would spend hours upon hours doodling on any surface I could find, much to my parents’ dismay. My mind was constantly generating images, and my hands couldn’t keep up with the flow of ideas.

This passion for drawing soon became a way to communicate and connect with the world around me. In my early teenage years, I stumbled upon the art of photography. It was like discovering a secret language that only I could understand. I would capture moments, freeze them in time, and tell stories through my lens. With each click, I could immerse myself in a different world, where my emotions and experiences melded seamlessly with my surroundings. Photography became my ultimate expressive outlet.
